Meat Church started when Matt Pittman took a trip to Central Texas and had one life-changing bite of salt-and-pepper brisket. That was it—BBQ had him hooked.

Matt grew up cooking with his Grandma June in Alabama, learning the value of simple, great-tasting food. But once the BBQ bug bit, he went all in. Backyard cookouts turned into full-blown competitions. His passion landed him a spot on the hit TV show BBQ Pitmasters, where he realized he could share his signature spice blends with the world. That’s how Meat Church Holy Cow—his first rub—was born. And let’s just say, folks ate it up.
